A backlink network, built carefully.
A relevance-first, never-reciprocal link exchange between Mentioned sites is on the way. It isn’t live yet — it switches on only once at least 200 sites qualify — it’s off by default, and it comes with a risk you should understand before you join.
Off by default. Link exchanges can breach Google’s spam policies — opt in only if you accept the risk.

Backlink network, in detail.
A relevance-first link exchange between Mentioned sites. Launching soon — waitlist only.
Opt-in only
Off by default. Nothing changes for your site unless you join and accept the risk disclosure.
Screened sites
Technical health of at least 60, an indexable homepage and no spam signals such as thin content or link selling.
Matched by topic
Links only between sites whose crawled content is on related topics.
Never reciprocal
If one site links to another, the second never links back, and short loops are avoided. Sites in the same workspace never link to each other.
Strict caps
At most 1 network link per article, 4 new links to any site per month, and the same pair at most once every 90 days.
Leave any time
Pause or leave from the Network tab; leaving stops new links in both directions immediately.

01 · Design
How it’s designed to work.
Sites on the waitlist are screened and profiled by topic. The network switches on only once at least 200 sites meet the quality bar; after that, a member’s new articles may include one contextual link to a relevant page on another member’s site.
- Links inside new articles, through your normal review or autopilot settings
- Descriptive, varied anchor text
- Free to join while in waitlist mode

02 · Risk
What could go wrong.
Google’s spam policies treat links exchanged mainly to manipulate rankings — including excessive link exchanges and partner networks — as link spam. A search engine may ignore those links, lower rankings or apply a manual action. No one, including us, can guarantee how a search engine will assess a link. Join only if you accept that.

One part of the loop.
The network is an optional extra for authority. Everything else in Mentioned works without it — and it isn’t live yet.

Is it live?
Not yet. Customers can join the waitlist from the Network tab inside Mentioned. It switches on only once at least 200 sites meet the quality bar, and we haven’t promised a date.
Is a link exchange safe for SEO?
Not risk-free. Google’s spam policies count excessive link exchanges as link schemes, which can hurt rankings. The network is designed around relevance, screening and contextual placement, but you should only join if you accept that risk.
Do I need it for the 90-day guarantee?
No. The guarantee depends on autopilot publishing and articles published — not on the network.
